My mission
Discord has become the backbone of millions of online communities — from gaming guilds to developer collectives to fan clubs. But when it comes to email, server owners are stuck using personal inboxes, exposing their private addresses to thousands of members.
I built Purlre to fix that. Every Discord community deserves a secure, private, and professional email identity — one that's tied to the server, not to a person. That's not a company mission statement. It's a personal one.

Hi, I'm Megan — a McMaster University graduate who built Purlre from the ground up, alone.
My background working with people across the lifespan gave me a deep appreciation for what security really means to families and communities. I believe everyone deserves privacy, not just those who are technically savvy — and I built Purlre to prove it.
Music has been a constant thread through my life — from learning my first instrument to writing original pieces, it taught me that the most meaningful things are built one note at a time. That same patience and ear for detail shapes how I approach software.
I'm a lifelong learner at heart. Whether it's picking up a new programming language, diving into a field I know nothing about, or finding the overlap between disciplines, I believe curiosity is the best tool in any builder's kit.
When I'm not shipping features, you'll find me knitting — there's something meditative about creating something stitch by stitch, just like building secure software one layer at a time.
